Yes.   Our services are available via virtual care (via video or by telephone).  These include psychological assessments and psychological treatments.

In selected cases (for example, for assessments of very young children) – your clinician may recommend starting with in person sessions.

Yes. Studies have now been conducted showing that telepsychology (use of video , the web and even telephone sessions) are effective in improving outcomes for individuals seeking care and in establishing strong relationships between the client and their therapist. Virtual care may be an attractive option for individuals who may want to start treatment but who do not have the time or means to commute to appointments.
It is your choice whether you wish to receive your care over the video. In person sessions are offered as well however, there may be more availability for virtual sessions.
It is important to have a good wifi connection to limit tech glitches. For privacy, we suggest meeting for your video session in a confidential place, free from interruptions or too much back ground noise. It is wise to have a phone nearby in case of tech issues. Also, be prepared to provide your therapist with an emergency contact in the rare case they may need to connect with a close contact due to a safety issue.
